He specializes in serving entities across the broad financial market, including banks, insurance companies, and real estate development companies. He combines expert legal knowledge with a practical approach to managing large-scale and complex litigation.
For over five years, he has led a 50-person Financial Litigation team responsible for conducting proceedings involving, among other things, foreign currency (FX) loan agreements, unauthorized payment transactions, sanctions for free loans, and PLN loans based on the WIBOR reference rate. In his practice, he focuses on both the substantive aspects of disputes and the effective design and optimization of dispute handling processes.
He has extensive experience in developing and implementing procedures for managing high-volume case portfolios, encompassing both litigation strategy and the organization of legal teams. He supports clients in developing long-term solutions that mitigate legal and operational risks.
He advises developers in disputes concerning claims related to the settlement of differences in the usable area of residential premises, representing them in court proceedings and at the pre-litigation stage.
He has over four years of litigation experience in providing services to insurance companies. He specializes in third-party liability insurance claims, including issues related to exhaustion of the insured amount, as well as high-value disputes. He also handles cases involving damages in international road transport under the CMR Convention.
He is an active trainer and speaker, conducting training for employees of insurance company claims departments, covering topics such as technical insurance claims (CAR/EAR), statute of limitations on claims, settlement of litigation costs, and effective court enforcement.
He regularly appears as a speaker at webinars and industry events on banking and financial law disputes, particularly those related to foreign currency loans, free credit sanctions, WIBOR, and unauthorized payment transactions. He also actively participates in the legal and procedural group at the Polish Bank Association.
