Foreign and International Organization Public Procurement
Participation in tenders outside the country and in international organization procurement requires specialized knowledge and preparation.
This refers to procurement awarded by public institutions in other countries, procurement awarded by international organizations (UN, NATO, EU institutions and others), as well as other states (e.g., US procurement). Currently, only a small number of Polish entrepreneurs take advantage of the opportunities offered by participation in international procurement procedures, mainly due to lack of knowledge of different procedures and requirements applicable in other markets. This occurs despite the fact that some of such contracts are actually performed in Poland or neighboring countries.
Our law firm helps overcome these barriers by offering professional legal advice in the area of foreign public procurement and procedures conducted by international organizations. The firm’s attorneys support clients in analyzing tender conditions under foreign regulations, preparing bids and complete documentation in foreign languages, as well as in negotiations and concluding contracts in accordance with international contractual standards (such as FIDIC conditions). Our firm’s team has experience gained in projects implemented in cooperation with foreign institutions and through international legal practice—which enables us to efficiently navigate the complex formal and cultural requirements of different jurisdictions. This multidisciplinary approach, supported by knowledge of local regulations and international organization rules, translates into increased chances for our clients to effectively compete for contracts on the international arena.
Our public procurement practice has been recognized in the Legal 500 ranking in the Public Procurement area. Our firm’s attorneys have also been ranked in 2nd position in the “Public Procurement Law” category in the “Rzeczpospolita” ranking.
