We have unique experience in the aviation sector, gained m.in years of cooperation with leading contractors and airport infrastructure managers, as well as cooperation with leading European airlines. We actively advise on numerous complex investment projects, transactions, and regulatory and disputed issues related to airport infrastructure.
Our advice covers all aspects of airport and airline operations. From planning and financing infrastructure investments (expansion of airports, terminals, fuel infrastructure) to current operational and regulatory issues.
At the same time, we support air carriers. We have repeatedly advised airlines (both traditional and low-cost) on aviation law requirements, the protection of passenger rights and carriers’ obligations towards supervisory authorities.

Support for a leading European construction company in numerous tenders for the construction or modernization of airport infrastructure, public utility buildings, and transport infrastructure (airport and road), including the construction of Port Polska Airport (CPK).

Advisory services for an entity providing engineering and design services for airports in Poland, including regional airports.

Proceedings concerning the use of airport infrastructure
Advising and representing one of the world’s largest companies in the area of “duty free” in a court dispute with the manager of Chopin Airport, related to the termination of several lease agreements for retail space.

Acquisition of a regional airport
Advising on the acquisition of a regional airport by an airport manager, which included a number of regulatory issues, developing a transaction structure (requiring pre-pack bankruptcy proceedings) and post-closing.

Advice on the operation of airports
Advising local government units on various aspects of the operation of regional airports, including the precedent-setting case of the acquisition of an airport in bankruptcy proceedings from a company covered by the European Commission’s decision on the reimbursement of unlawful state aid.

Advising a global provider of airport baggage handling solutions and systems – on procurement procedures for numerous airports in Eastern Europe.

Representation of a supplier of jet aircraft in procurement procedures carried out by the Armament Agency, including proceedings before the National Chamber of Appeal and before a common court.

We have also advised carriers on various aspects of their passenger and cargo operations; we have also represented airlines in proceedings before the Civil Aviation Authority and other authorities, as well as in proceedings concerning passenger claims.
